so here's my take on "English isn't my first language" in webcomics:
when I'm reading I pretend I'm watching a dub of a foreign film
I don't expect those to be perfect either, and it makes things fun. With that attitude, the only times that I have a real hard time with foreign created comics is when they attempt to depict American-specific colloquialisms--rural and urban accents, or industry-specific lingo. But then again, I know plenty of native English speakers who screw that stuff up too.
Thank you, sir! In the past I consumed media that clearly had terrible English even for the eyes of a non-english speaker but generally people prefer to read flawless texts.
